This charming detached house, designed in a chalet style, boasts a spacious floor area of 205 m² and was a pleasure to work on from start to finish.
Our clients, a young family embarking on their first self-build project on their own land, were actively involved in every step of the process. The skilled follow-on trades they engaged significantly enhanced the overall quality of the finished home.
High-quality drawings and 3D renderings helped visualize the final product, ensuring clarity at each stage of the timber frame build, which was completed in just two weeks. The timber frame design featured thoughtful modifications to the roof trusses and the configuration of the dormers, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality.
Inside, the house comprises four well-proportioned bedrooms, including a master suite with a standard ensuite and a walk-in wardrobe, as well as a family bathroom. A standout feature of the home is the expansive open-plan kitchen and dining area, which is complemented by a study and a playroom, making it ideal for family living.

“The timber frame product perfectly suited our thermal needs and offered the thinnest envelope we had discovered. The installation of the timber frame components was exceptionally well-organized, with skilled tradesmen who made this phase of the build incredibly exciting. Any challenges we encountered were communicated effectively and reassuringly. Overall, the experience has been fantastic!”
