Roof Trusses

The roof is the crown on any build. So whether you’re undertaking a self-build home or a timber frame commercial build, our experienced team will take you through a step-by-step process. We start with a pre-design site survey to determine exactly which timber roof trusses are right, and then move to design, supply and installation, keeping you informed each step of the way.

Types of timber roof trusses

Timber roof trusses offer flexibility that really helps you add that extra level of uniqueness to your timber frame design. From T intersections and L returns, to hip and dogleg intersections, there are options for all building shapes, however unusual. The flexibility doesn’t stop here though.

There is a wide variety of internal shapes and profiles to suit the purpose of your build. Attic trusses are an increasingly popular option as their structure means the attic can be used as living space, while raised-tie or scissor trusses allow ceilings to be raised without changing the shape of the external building. At UK Structures, we use our years of roof truss design experience to help you select what is best suited to your project, followed by the highest standard of construction and installation.
